Outer Banks North Carolina Wedding Photographer | Sarah D’Ambra Photography | Outer Banks Engagement at the Wright Brothers National Memorial

Engagement sessions are by far my favorite thing to shoot! I’ve always said this. Once again I have reassured my self of this, just after I photographed this gorgeous couple at the Wright Brothers National Memorial. I COULD NOT MORE MORE OBSESSED WITH THESE PHOTOS! Seriously, killer! Killer sunrise, killer light, killer location… and KILLER COUPLE! I am so stoked to be working with these two again in May for their Outer Banks Wedding at the Currituck Club. Here are a few photos from their engagement session at the top of the Wright Brothers National Memorial in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina.

Outer Banks North Carolina Wedding Photographer | Sarah D’Ambra Photography | Wedding ceremony and reception at 108 Budleigh in Manteo, NC!

I honestly spoke too soon! Here I was thinking that I was blogging the last 2015 wedding of the year and sure enough we just booked one for December! Yay us! Regardless, I am so happy to finally be able to share the wedding photos from Cody and Jenilee’s wedding in downtown Manteo, North Carolina. They held their wedding ceremony and reception in the amazing 108 Budleigh! Again and again we’ve photographed weddings there and it’s awesome to see how each one turns out differently. We also had the special opportunity to photograph some of the guys photos at the local Manteo airport seeing as how Cody is a pilot for small air crafts. With all the other photos wrapped up in the charming downtown Manteo waterfront area, I’m stoked to have sort of ended the year in my stomping grounds! Here are a few images from Cody and Jenilee’s wedding! Enjoy!

Outer Banks North Carolina Photographer | Sarah D’Ambra Photography | All Washed Up Jewelry

A few weeks ago Ashley and Jill Rawls, the fabulous owners of All Washed Up Jewelry, approached me and asked if I would be interested in shooting a session that featured some of their best selling products. I was immediately on board, as I am a HUGE fan of their work. This was a really big step for me as I am still so new to the commercial photography world. I’m finding that I really enjoy it. There’s just something awesome about helping and promoting other small businesses. When the girls told me their vision of using a mermaid tale I was a little taken back, and really worried about this being so far form my comfort zone. I knew instantly that I wanted to use none other than THE Katie Metzger. I first met her through the shoots I’ve been doing for Foxy Flamingo Boutique, and her modeling ability is clearly on point. She’s also moving to the big NYC here soon to pursue modeling full time so I was really stoked to have been able to use her before she left town. Katie killed it, the photos rock… and I’m still in awe of just how awesome this shoot turned out. Thanks to All Washed Up Jewelry for having faith in me to bring their vision to life!!

Outer Banks North Carolina Wedding Photographer | Sarah D’Ambra Photography | Boho wedding celebration in Kill Devil Hills, NC

WIND WIND WIND WIND. I think it’s safe to say that we have had our fair share of wind this summer. BUT, can I just say how obsessed I am with this boho wedding?!?! Madeline captured Mike and Edens wedding perfectly! I’m am totally bummed I missed such a killer wedding but stoked that Madeline stepped it up and took one for team SDP! Moving forward into next year, she’ll be photographing more weddings for the SDP brand. And that’s great news, because that means our schedules are more freed up and we’re more available to you! I couldn’t be more happier with her work, and it’s so awesome that our similar taste in shooting style complements each other so well… And not to mention Eden made her weddings incredibly easy to photograph with all of her DIY details. Here are a few photos from Mike and Eden’s wedding day! ENJOY!

Outer Banks North Carolina Wedding Photographer | Sarah D’Ambra Photography | Jason and Erica married at Jennette’s Pier in Nags Head, NC

Jason and Erica’s wedding at Jennette’s Pier in Nags Head was pretty awesome! No only did we do a sweet first look series in historic downtown Manteo, NC but there was a gigantic surf competition going on right in the middle of their reception venue. It’s not every day you get to shoot a wedding during the Wave Riding Vehicles Outer Banks Hurley Pro. Just goes to show there’s always room for more on the beach! Everything from the exquisite menu options catered by the fantastic Cafe Lachine, to the over the top embellishments and decor by none other than The Embellishers. This wedding was 130 people deep and off the charts! Here are a few photos from Erica and Jason’s wedding day! Enjoy!
